This week’s best upside stories were not just homes with a lot of square footage for the money. They were homes with something extra the market does not always price perfectly on day one — views, walkability, flexible layouts, rental options, distinctive design, or a setting buyers keep coming back for.

Which is usually where the interesting stuff lives.
